We will be holding four community information sessions over the next few weeks across the community zones. The information sessions are a chance to learn about the projects progress leading up to construction starting later next year.
In the past month, more detailed information was given to the three shortlisted respondents to help develop their proposals, which are due in November 2015. The latest geotechnical studies took place and the refreshed website is soon to be launched.
After five Expressions of Interest were received for the Design and Construct contract in March, an evaluation process has been carried out over the past few months.
Analysis has been completed on the survey into Forrestfield-Airport Link communications. The survey found that local residents were generally happy with the frequency and content of the communications and updates.
The second geotechnical drilling program is well underway with more than 100 bore holes drilled and 70 monitoring wells installed along the future rail route.
